The goal of this course is to review current best practices in the diagnosis and care of children with constipation. Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to:
Understand the current literature and evidence base for constipation in children.
Identify the components of a complete evaluation for constipation.
Develop and implement a treatment plan for constipation.
Recognize when a patient can be effectively managed in the general pediatric clinic, and when subspecialty referral is appropriate.

FORMAT AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
This course is self-paced, using text and video with pre and posttest assessments. Speakers or headphones are required for audio, but video content can also be accessed without audio via downloadable transcripts.
